Happiness in the Park becomes … Happiness Indoors

Hi all!
Happiness in the Park has become HAPPINESS INDOORS.

Sunday, October 6th we will meet at Sushumnā Healing Space to start our indoors practice of MMQG: Meditation, Mindfulness, and Qi Gong for a couple of hours, from 10:00 to 12:00.

This will be our first meeting in the new location, so come join us to celebrate!

MMQG stands for Meditation, Mindfulness, and Qi Gong

The practice will change format: it will become a course where you will learn how to properly make use of your energy to release stress and to get a healthier, happier life.

Bring with you a notebook if you want to take notes.

Happiness in the Park – End of Summer Report

Some hard data about this 2019 Summer of Happiness in the Park.

It was a success!!

We met 13 times, practicing MMQG (Meditation, Mindfulness, and Qi Gong) for 26 hours (for free!).

We had more than 65 different people attending the meetings, and we have more than 300 people who are signed on our Meetup, Nebenan, and Facebook groups.

It has been an amazing experience, meeting so many people, sharing the idea that Happiness is not just an empty word, but can be learned, developed, and used, as a habit.

As a happiness coach, I am proud of all of you, who came, tried, shared a little part of your life journey with me. If I managed to let you have at least 2 hours of a healthier, wealthier (in the sense you prefer material or spiritual), happier life, I will have reached my goal.

The Action for Happiness Course (Nuremberg, 17 Oct 2019)

I and Anke Skowronek will be hosting a Action for Happiness Course in Nuremberg.
The course will last for 8 weeks, starting on October 17th 2019.

The course will be held at the Navuna House Yoga Studio, Hagenstraße 11, 90461 Nuremberg

The course is called Exploring What Matters.

It gives you the chance to meet friendly, like-minded people and find simple ways to make yourself and others happier.  

This 8-week course is based in science and helps you:

  • Meet with like-minded people to explore what really matters in life and find new ways of looking at things.
  • Learn from the experts through videos, mindfulness exercises and a handbook full of resources to help you break big ideas into manageable chunks.
  • Take small actions each week by taking time to reflect on how to create happiness for yourself and those around you.

People find the course really enjoyable and often refer to what they learn as life-changing.

The course is run over 8 sessions, which take place weekly and last for 2 hours, and is open to anyone interested in exploring how to create happiness for themselves or others.

Everyone who joins the course makes a donation of their choice to be there, so the course is available to anyone, no matter their financial circumstances.

Each course is run by us as volunteers who want to help spread happiness in the local area.
